Lets talk about monochrome dressing that's seems to pop up in full force this season with our celebs rocking the monochrome look even at Cannes 2019,opting for white monochrome palette making it the most sought after style trend in 2019.

"Monochromatic refers to wearing one hue for an overall sharp tonal look.Mono - one ,chrome -colour.Because of the lack of contrast ,the result is a more subtle and looks really chic.

Dressing monochromatically elongates your silhouette making you appear taller and slimmer than you actually are .Hence these outfits are by far the chicest and easiest to pull off...

This trend never really goes out of style. Bright shades  like reds and wine or purple are perfect bets and one need not stick to the blacks ,greys and whites. Go for rompers , summer dresses ,jumpsuits, gowns and overalls what ever  outfityou wanna showcase.

You can play with patterns and textures from the same colour palette in lighter or darker shades depending on which area of the body you need to downplay or emphasize on .Here there is a mix of viscose with sequins in the ensemble which makes a sassy party outfit.

For instance to bring the focus upwards if you are heavier at the waist, opt for bottom of a darker shade and work your way up with a lighter shade of that same colour. So wearing a navy blue bottom and a light or sky blue shirt or top makes you look sassy even if you do not have petite frame.You can also match accessories bags and shoes from the same shade and hues .

To add visual interest and to break up the solid blocks of color, add a print piece made up of the same color you’re working with. 

So there is no reason for you to not experiment with monochromatic dressing because there are certain hues and shades that look marvellous with your skin tone hair and eyes.
